Journalists

  • Raise awareness about the unprecedented opportunities offered by digital technologies by sharing e.g. success stories from entrepreneurs going digital
  • Encourage your audience to adopt and improve their digital skills
  • Speak and write about successful cross-sectorial and business academia collaborations

Next to mayors and city managers, journalists are the most likely candidates able to spur a city to action. Journalists who will succeed to trigger the digital transformation of their city do solid reporting on successful, exiting stories of uptake of digital technologies. They will use the latest tools available, and will pay particular attention to tell their stories in whatever medium their target audience uses.
